Change to Normal Office Hours - 3/7/2026

Dear Families of Marblehead Pediatrics,

We are writing to inform you of a change to our office hours for this Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Due to a sudden and unexpected family obligation for the originally scheduled physician, we will be adjusting our hours to 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM (instead of our usual 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). We apologize for any inconvenience this shift may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Feb 23 2026 - Telemedicine Available; Office is Closed

Dear Families of Marblehead Pediatrics

Marblehead Pediatrics will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 23, for in-person appointments due to the winter storm forecasted to impact the region Sunday evening into Tuesday morning. With significant snowfall and reduced visibility expected during the overnight and morning hours, we are concerned about travel conditions for our patients and employees. The town of Marblehead has also declared a snow emergency. The Marblehead Departments of Public Works requires the roads to be cleared of vehicles to safely conduct snow operations. We recognize that our office’s closure can disrupt your family’s medical care, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding. To minimize this impact, we will be available for telemedicine visits on Monday, February 23. Please stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming our patients in person back on Tuesday.

Flu and Covid-19 vaccines, RSV injections available

Dear Marblehead Families,

Thanks again to all of our patients and families who came to the drive-through flu vaccine clinic. It was another successful year for us to help protect your children’s health. If you were not able to make it, we will continue to have influenza vaccines throughout the flu season for all our patients 6+ months of age or older.

The newest 2025-2026 Covid-19 vaccine is also available at our office. This booster is available for all patients age 6+ months to 18 years of age. Please note that if you are 19+ years of age, we have not been allocated Covid-19 vaccines that can be used for your young adult. Please consider utilizing your local CVS or Walgreen’s pharmacy.

Finally, many families have been hearing about the RSV injection called Beyfortus for infants age 0-8 months of age. If you haven’t heard, a link to the John’s Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health which is an excellent summary for the topic can be found here.

Flu Clinic 2025

Marblehead Pediatrics is proud to announce the date of our 6th annual drive-thru flu clinic!

Saturday Oct 4th 2025 8:30 AM - noon

Location: Parking Lot - Across from the church - Our Lady, Star of the Sea (We will be located in the back parking lot next to the tennis courts which is behind the Seaside Nursery School Building).

Our preferred method to contact us about scheduling an appointment is by sending a patient portal message. Please make sure to list your preferred dates/times if possible and the name(s) of all the children that will be participating. If you do not have a working patient portal account, you can also call us at 781-631-7800 to schedule your influenza vaccine today!

We have moved to Epic

Dear Marblehead Pediatrics Families,

As of 2/27/2025, we have implemented our new electronic medical record system to Mass General Hospital’s version of Epic. While in the long run, this will help modernize our workflows and provide better integrated care for our families, there is a learning curve for us as a office to utilize all of its tools. We apologize during the next month for the limited number of available appointments or any technology related issues that may arise. Thank you for bearing with us and we look forward to the transformative impact the new electronic medical record system will have on patient care and efficiency.

11/21/2024 - The Office Will Close at 4 PM due to a Staff Training Event

Dear Marblehead Pediatrics Families,

Our office will be closing early on Thursday 11/21/2024 at 4PM because of a required training event for our providers as part of the new MGB accountable care organization. We apologize for any inconvenience.
